Biography

Dr. Yang graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in biology and mathematics. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She completed her internship and neurology residency at University of Illinois in Chicago, serving as chief resident in her final year. She completed her neurophysiology/neuromuscular fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Yang specializes in neuromuscular medicine and EMG with special interests in myasthenia gravis and ALS. She is active in clinical trials for myasthenia gravis and CIDP. She runs our multidisciplinary ALS Clinic. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is active in the American Associated of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and sits on the Professional Practice Committee. Dr. Yang enjoys spending time outdoors in her spare time. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
