Briumvi® (ublituximab-xiiy) is a monoclonal antibody approved for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) in adults. It is part of the anti-CD20 therapy class, designed to target and deplete B cells — key players in the immune system’s attack on the nervous system in MS.Briumvi® offers a convenient and effective option for patients needing B-cell depleting therapy, featuring a shorter infusion time to enhance both treatment efficiency and patient experience.
In multiple sclerosis (MS), the body’s own immune system mistakenly attacks the myelin sheath — the protective covering around nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. One type of immune cell involved in this process is called a B-cell, which carries a marker called CD20 that helps identify it.
When the myelin sheath gets damaged, the nerve cells can’t communicate properly, leading to problems with movement, speech, balance, vision, and even bowel function over time.
While Briumvi is not a cure for MS, it works by targeting the CD20 marker on B-cells, helping to destroy them before they can cause more damage. This helps to calm the immune system and slow down the progression of the disease.

Our infusion center is proud to have a board-certified neurologist on-site, along with a team of BSN-prepared and Registered Nurses that specialize in infusion care for neurological conditions, all committed to delivering the highest standard of care for our patients.

A Cigna report recently found that with a physician-owned infusion site, like Advanced Neurology of Colorado's Infusion Center, patients see much lower out-of-pocket and overall costs than they would at a hospital outpatient infusion center.
